Terms of use

Short, and in plain language, because terms nobody can read are not terms anybody agreed to.

What this site is

MoneyLingo provides financial EDUCATION. Nothing here is investment, tax, legal or insurance advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. We hold no registration with SEBI, RBI, IRDAI, PFRDA or AMFI, and we need none, because we do not advise, distribute or transact.

Decisions are yours

Calculators compute arithmetic on figures and assumptions you supply. They cannot know your circumstances and do not try to. Before acting on anything you read here, consult a qualified professional. That means a Chartered Accountant for tax, a lawyer for succession, a SEBI-registered adviser for investments, and an IRDAI-registered adviser for insurance.

Accuracy, and its limits

We source every figure to a primary authority and publish the date it was checked on the sources page. Indian rules change often, and despite that process something here will eventually be out of date or wrong. Where a page is past its review window it says so rather than staying silent. Tell us at corrections@moneylingo.in and we will correct it.

Age

Anyone may read this site. An account requires you to be at least 13. If you are under 18 you are a child under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and we will seek verifiable consent from a parent or guardian before storing any progress.

Using the content

Read it, use it, quote it with attribution, and use the calculators as much as you like. Do not republish the content wholesale, and do not present it as your own or as advice you are giving.

Complaints

Our Grievance Officer and the timelines we work to are on the grievance page.

Pre-launch note. These terms describe the service as built. They must be reviewed by Indian counsel, and the operating entity named, before the site goes live.
